Confidence: Traditional martial arts help increase self confidence by improving physical fitness
and one's ability to handle any situation.
Discipline: Students are required to follow traditional training methods which include,
staying focused upon the task at hand and behaving in a orderly manner throughout class.
Self- Esteem: As we learn new and different techniques and movements, and achieve levels
of rank and proficiency, there is a true sense of accomplishment.
Respect: Traditional martial arts are practiced in a formal setting. All students wear a
traditional uniform, address each other as sir and ma'am, and are required to behave
in a mannerly fashion, both at our studio and at school, home, etc.
Self Defense: Because we practice the traditional martial art of Korea " Tang Soo Do", and not
sport karate, the techniques learned enable the student to defend himself/herself from any attacker.
